As with any game, Halo: Campaign Evolved raises a number of frequently asked questions as you play. Since we don't want any of your questions to go unanswered, this section of our FAQ explains whether the game supports cross-play and cross-save across its different versions.
The short answer is yes. Halo: Campaign Evolved supports cross-play across all three platforms on which it is available. However, PS5 players must meet one additional requirement: you need to create an Xbox account and link it to your PS5 account (players on Xbox Series X|S and PC will already be using one). Once this requirement has been met, you can enjoy seamless cross-play between PlayStation, PC and Xbox.
Cross-play should actually be enabled by default on your account when you first start playing Halo: Campaign Evolved. In any case, you can change this setting from the game's options menu. Open the settings, go to the "Account" section and look for the "Cross-Platform Play" option, as shown in the screenshot below:
If you want to use cross-play, make sure this setting remains enabled.
Once again, the short answer is yes. In Halo: Campaign Evolved, your save data is linked to the Xbox gamertag you need to use the game's cross-play features. This allows you to switch between the Xbox Series X|S, PC and PS5 versions and pick up exactly where you left off on any of the other platforms.
Bear in mind that while buying the game from the Microsoft Store gives you access to both the Xbox and PC versions, you will need to purchase a separate copy for PS5, as that version is not included with Xbox Play Anywhere.
