Besides the playable characters, Mortal Kombat 1 also features Kameo Fighters. There are currently 15 Kameo Fighters, who serve as assist characters capable of performing specific attacks and even have their own Fatalities and Brutalities. In this section, we'll explain how to unlock them all.
Locked Kameo Fighters are unlocked by increasing your Profile Level. To do so, simply play Invasions, Towers, or online matches with any character. Regardless of which fighter you choose, your profile will earn points from victories, allowing you to unlock Kameo Fighters as you level up. The final Kameo Fighter is unlocked upon reaching level 25.
At the moment, there are no DLC Kameo Fighters. If any are added, we'll specify which content pack includes each one.
No. A couple of characters appear as both playable fighters and Kameo Fighters, but you cannot switch characters during a match to take control of your Kameo Fighter, even in those cases.
