Mortal Kombat 1: All Invasions Klues, Solutions, and Where to Find Them

Mortal Kombat 1 not only features an exciting story mode, but also the familiar Towers and Invasions mode. This mode receives new content with each season and has you explore a series of paths across different Mesas. However, as well as completing fights, you'll also need to find ways to unlock secret paths. During this season, that means obtaining the Nether Stone or solving special Klues. Here, we'll explain how to solve these Klues, find their secret paths, and discover the rewards waiting at the end.

What are Klue fights?

As you progress through Invasions mode, you'll sometimes come across a blocked path. The obstacle may consist of rubble, pots, carts, or something else depending on the map or Mesa. When you stand on the node next to the blocked path, you'll see "Klue" above the fight's name, followed by a message that may be a scrambled word or a phrase.

This Klue tells you which character you need to use, whether you must perform a specific action during the fight, if you have to win using a specific Fatality, and so on.

All Klues and solutions

These are all the Klues currently available and how to solve each one.

• DEDAERHT: Finish the fight using Ashrah's secret Fatality (mid range; Down, Down, Back, Circle/B/A on PS5/Xbox Series X|S/Nintendo Switch).
• ESDORYT TEH DWLOR: Finish the fight using Cyrax's Kameo Fatality (mid range; Forward, Back, Forward, R1/RB/R on PS5/Xbox Series X|S/Nintendo Switch).
• AMNISLTA4: Equip a Talisman with four charges and use all four during the fight.
• TOASTY!!!: Finish the fight using Scorpion's Kameo Fatality (mid range; Down, Forward, Down, R1/RB/R on PS5/Xbox Series X|S/Nintendo Switch).
• FLIPPING OUT: Change stance 30 times during the fight and then win it (L2 on PS5, LT on Xbox Series X|S, or ZL on Nintendo Switch).
• ANOTHER TEST SUBJECT: Use Shang Tsung's secret Fatality (mid range; Forward, Down, Back, Triangle/Y/X on PS5/Xbox Series X|S/Nintendo Switch).
• QUACKX10: Duck at least 10 times and then win the fight.
• NOMED RENNI: Finish the fight using Sareena's Kameo Fatality (mid range; Back, Down, Down, R1/RB/R on PS5/Xbox Series X|S/Nintendo Switch).
• ERTECA AOSCH: Finish the fight using either of Havik's Fatalities.
• KCIRT TAH: Finish the fight using Kung Lao's Kameo Fatality (mid range; Forward, Back, Forward, R1/RB/R on PS5/Xbox Series X|S/Nintendo Switch).
• USE THE ELEMENT THAT BRINGS LIFE: Finish the fight using Rain's Fatality (close range; Down, Down, Back, Circle/B/A on PS5/Xbox Series X|S/Nintendo Switch).

What's behind the Klue paths?

These are generally short paths with a single node, which usually contains a chest with exclusive cosmetic items.

How to find Klue fights

Naturally, it's almost impossible to remember where every Klue fight was located if you didn't complete them while progressing through the Mesa. Fortunately, the game features a special "compass". Simply look at the color of the path connecting the nodes.

• If the path is green, following it will lead you to a blocked route that can be opened. This may simply mean that you haven't fully completed the Mesa yet, or it could lead to a path blocked by a Nether Stone gate or a secret Klue fight.
• If the path is light blue, following it won't lead you to anything new.
