Below are all 36 cheat codes for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories on PSP. Enter each combination during normal gameplay without pausing, using the D-pad and the PSP's L and R shoulder buttons.
Important: Create a separate save before using cheats and do not overwrite your clean file. Cheat codes can alter statistics, cause scripting problems and make certain pedestrian effects persist.

The three weapon cheats provide predefined loadouts. None of them gives Vic every weapon in the game at the same time. The money code adds exactly $250,000 whenever it is entered; it does not activate an unlimited-money mode.

Pedestrians Attack Vic and Pedestrian Riot are especially risky. Do not rely on entering their combinations again to remove them. Reload the clean save created before using cheats.

The weather combinations are easy to confuse. Clear and Sunny use R, L, while Overcast and Rainy use L, R. The gameplay-speed effects may stack, so reloading a clean save is the safest way to restore normal speed.

These four combinations unlock content for the original PSP multiplayer modes. They do not increase single-player completion and have no useful effect in the PS2 version, which does not include multiplayer.
Most combinations can be entered while Vic is on foot or inside a vehicle. The passenger-pedestrian code is the main exception: Vic must already be sitting in a vehicle, with a nearby pedestrian and a free passenger seat.
If a code is not accepted, wait for any mission transition or cutscene to finish, close all menus and enter it again more quickly. Do not use PS2 labels such as L1 and R1 when following a PSP control layout; the corresponding PSP buttons are L and R.
Rockstar warns that cheat codes can cause scripting problems, unusual behavior or corrupted save data. Cheats are therefore best used in a temporary session rather than during normal story progress.
There is no cheat that automatically completes the story, grants 100% single-player completion or makes Vic invincible.

All 32 single-player combinations have direct PS2 equivalents: use L1 and R1 instead of the PSP's L and R buttons. The four multiplayer unlock codes have no useful effect on PS2.
They normally work when PPSSPP is running the original PSP version, because the combinations are processed by the game itself. Make sure the emulator's D-pad, face buttons and L and R controls are mapped correctly. Modified game files or unusual control profiles may behave differently.
Some effects can be toggled by entering their code again, while others remain active until the game or a clean save is reloaded. The safest method is to leave the current session and reload the separate save created before using cheats.
