ASPIRINE restores health and repairs the vehicle Tommy is currently using, but it does not increase his maximum health. Weapon names vary between releases and revisions; the aliases in parentheses above refer to the same weapons and do not change the three loadouts. There is no built-in money or infinite-ammo code.

CHASESTAT can appear to do nothing immediately. It enables the display, but the counter is only shown outside missions when the current Media Attention value is above 40 and reaches at least 70% of Tommy's best-ever value. You do not have to beat the previous record.

GTA Vice City does not use a command console or cheat-entry window. To activate a PC cheat:
Classic codes can also be entered from the pause menu, but active gameplay is the most reliable method across both editions. For a vehicle spawn, stand in an open area near a road. If a code does not register, click the game window to restore keyboard focus and wait for any cutscene or mission transition to end before trying again.
The original PC version contains 58 codes. The Definitive Edition retains 53 of them, removes five Classic-only codes and adds four new codes, for a total of 57 codes in the remaster and 62 unique PC codes across both versions. In the tables, Both means the code works in both releases.

Create a separate manual save before entering any cheat and never overwrite your clean save afterward. Rockstar warns that saving after using cheats can corrupt save data or cause unpredictable results, even if a code was later disabled. Reloading a save created before entering any code is the safest way to return the game to normal.
FIGHTFIGHTFIGHT and NOBODYLIKESME are particularly dangerous because entering them again does not reverse their world-state changes. In The Definitive Edition, using cheats can also prevent achievements from unlocking during that session.
The total counts unique typed keyboard phrases rather than every label or consequence attached to a cheat. A code shared by Classic and Definitive Edition is counted once in the 62-code combined total, but it contributes to each edition's individual total. The moon-size interaction is not included because it is triggered by shooting the moon rather than typing a phrase.
Claims such as a Classic PC money cheat, infinite ammo or an original-version invincibility code are excluded because those effects have no genuine built-in keyboard phrase. Mods, trainers and console button combinations are not counted as PC cheat codes.
Changing the moon's size is a hidden interaction, not a typed cheat code. At night, equip either sniper rifle and shoot the moon. Each valid hit advances it to another of eight size settings; after eight valid hits, it returns to the size at which you started. The effect is purely visual.
