💎 The Sims 3 PC Cheats: ALL Codes & Commands

Making your Sims happy is no easy task. That is why, as usual, the PC version of The Sims 3 gives us the possibility to use classic cheats in the form of console commands.

As always, motherlode is there to save your life and your wallet, along with many other classic and new cheats. Remember to make a backup of your save file before you start playing. Otherwise, you might irretrievably corrupt your game.

How to Open the Cheat Console

Just like always, the first step is knowing how to open the console commands window, which is where you enter the codes. In this case, you must press ctrl+shift+c, and once the console is open, type the command in question.

All The Sims 3 Cheats

• TestingCheatsEnabled true: enables cheats (allows them to be used).
• TestingCheatsEnabled false: disables cheats (does not allow them to be used).
• help: shows you all available cheats. It couldn't be easier.
• help CHEATCOMMAND: explains how the command you specify in CHEATCOMMAND works.
• pressing the up arrow key: displays the last command you entered.
• jokePlease: tells you a joke. Laughter not guaranteed.
• kaching: 1,000 Simoleons.
• Familyfunds FAMILYNAME AMOUNT: gives the family specified in FAMILYNAME the amount of Simoleons specified in AMOUNT. The maximum value is 9999999, without periods or commas.
• motherlode: 50,000 Simoleons.
• quit: exits the game. For the lazy.
• resetSim SIMNAME: resets the Sim specified in SIMNAME. This is useful, for example, if your Sim gets stuck for some reason. It does not make them disappear or start over, or anything like that.
• FullScreen STATUS: enables or disables full screen mode depending on STATUS. STATUS can be on (full screen) or off (windowed screen).
• EnableLotLocking STATUS: when used, a padlock appears over buildings allowing you to enable or disable the option to edit or buy them based on STATUS. STATUS can be true (you can see the padlock and disable the restriction) or false (does not allow it).
• fps STATUS: shows or hides the frames per second depending on STATUS. STATUS can be on (show) or off (hide).
• AllowObjectsOnRoofs STATUS: allows objects to be built on roofs depending on STATUS. STATUS can be on (allowed) or off (not allowed).
• moveObjects STATUS: allows you to move objects that you normally couldn't move, and delete them, depending on STATUS. STATUS can be on (cheat enabled) or off (cheat disabled). Note that this even allows you to manipulate Sims, and since you are doing something the game normally doesn't allow, if you delete certain things you won't be able to recover them.
• constrainFloorElevation STATUS: allows the adjustment of any terrain regardless of what is on top of it depending on STATUS. STATUS can be true (cheat enabled) or false (cheat disabled).
• disableSnappingToSlotsOnAlt STATUS: allows objects to snap out of grid slots depending on STATUS. STATUS can be on (cheat enabled) or off (cheat disabled). This is useful for placing items, like counters, right next to each other.
• hideHeadlineEffects STATUS: shows or hides all thought and speech balloons above Sims' heads depending on STATUS. STATUS can be on (cheat enabled) or off (cheat disabled).
• fadeObjects STATUS: makes objects fade or not when the camera gets close so they don't block the view depending on STATUS. STATUS can be on (objects fade) or off (objects do not fade).
• slowMotionViz SPEED: determines the speed at which everything happens based on SPEED. SPEED is a value ranging from 0 (standard value, normal speed) up to 8 (the slowest speed possible).
• unlockOutfits STATUS: makes career and service outfits appear or not in CAS depending on STATUS. STATUS can be on (shows the outfits) or off (does not show them). The cheat must be entered before entering CAS.
• buydebug STATUS: allows you to buy objects from expansion packs that are generally not available for purchase depending on STATUS. STATUS can be on (allows buying) or false (does not allow buying).
• freerealestate: you can buy houses without spending any money.
• DiscoTags STATUS: changes the colors of the icons in the map view to multicolor depending on STATUS. STATUS can be on (changes) or off (does not change).
• EnableLlamas: "Llamas enabled". Seriously. It doesn't seem to do anything else besides sending you that message.
• speed SPEED: sets the game speed based on SPEED. SPEED can be a number from 0 (normal speed) to 4 (maximum speed).
