Well BioShock fans, it looks like you'll have a a little while longer to experience all the BioShock Infinite has to offer as 2K Games announced today that the latest entry from Irrational Games is now planned to launch worldwide on February 26, 2013. The game was previously slated for an October 2011 release.
“When we announced the release date of BioShock Infinite in March, we felt pretty good about the timing." said Ken Levine, Creative Director of Irrational Games. "Since then, we’ve uncovered opportunities to make Infinite into something even more extraordinary. Therefore, to give our talented team the time they need to deliver the best Infinite possible, we’ve decided to move the game’s release to February.”
Also, in a post over on the game's official website, Levine noted that the game is basically entering a media blackout for a little while as Irrational holds off on showing BioShock Infinite at the big events of the summer, like E3 and GamesCom. "That way, the next time you see our game, it will be essentially the product we intend to put in the box." stated Levine. "Preparing for these events takes time away from development, time we’re going to use instead to get the best version of Infinite into your hands in February."
Of course, we'll keep you posted as new details about the progress of BioShock Infinite emerge. Until then, feel free to hit up the game's media page here on GT to get a glimpse of what's in store come early 2013.
El juego será lanzado en febrero y no estará presente este E3. Será para poder pulirlo y compatbilizar el desarrollo con eventos de promocion.Fuente
Me pregunto si sacarán una versión para WiiU.
