Se ve que pese a ciertos bugs y críticas, las reviews de más de 90% de media el juego es uno de los éxitos del año.
The population in the wasteland surrounding New Vegas is exploding. Bethesda announced this morning that its latest foray with the Fallout franchise has sold more than 5 million copies since its release on October 19.
The publisher said the total take on consoles and PC added up to "well over $300 million" in retail sales, a franchise record. Further illustrating the hugely successful launch, Bethesda pointed out that the Fallout: New Vegas strategy guide was among the best selling books on Amazon.com in October.
"We are delighted by the reception Fallout: New Vegas has received from fans around the world," said Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks. "Despite the large launch quantities for this title, we have already received substantial re-orders from our retail partners, underscoring the tremendous popularity of this highly entertaining game."
And for those of you still battling the many bugs in Fallout: New Vegas -- and we're not talking about radiated insects here -- Bethesda had some more good news. The Xbox 360 and PC save issues have been resolved and a new patch for the game should be ready for download early this week. And the publisher says it is currently running final testing and certification on a "comprehensive patch for all three platforms." The uber patch should be available "in the coming weeks" and more details will be coming soon.
