After Carlos's unsuccessful visit to the Police Station, we return to Jill, who is still alive after the subway incident. She now needs to escape the tunnels, most likely with a gigantic creature boasting more teeth than a truckload of garlic right behind her.
Follow the only available path until you reach the first safe room. You will find two sets of Mine Rounds, a First Aid Spray, and the U.B.C.S. New Weaponry Notice document. Take out the Grenade Launcher and load it with Mine Rounds before continuing. If you have followed this guide up to this point, you should have between five and seven Explosive Rounds and two Flame Rounds. Take all of them out of the item box, along with all your Handgun Ammo and the Knife. We also recommend making a manual save. Several zombies will get up in the hallway. Option A: fire a Mine Round into the middle of the group and boom, three zombies for the price of one. Option B is to run past and dodge all of them before they can get up.
Bear in mind that there is a Mr. Charlie inside the second cell on the right. If you fire a Mine Round into the middle of the hallway, you will probably destroy it without even realizing it, which is exactly what happened to us.

When you reach the stairs, another three zombies will appear. There isn't enough room for fancy moves or clever dodges, so use another Mine Round to kill all three and then go upstairs. Yes, it is possible to dodge them with enough skill, so you can try it if you want to save both Mine Rounds. We simply didn't want to recommend a strategy that not everyone will be able to pull off.
You will now find yourself in Clock Tower Plaza. Approach the railing and collect the Handgun Ammo from the first bench, then pick up the Clock Tower Brochure from another. A little farther ahead, beside the statues, you will see a Green Herb. Turn left after passing the green van to find a Mr. Charlie.

Behind you is a police car with a crate containing a Red Herb beside it. You now have no choice but to cross the bridge, which, for some reason, doesn't seem like the smartest idea in the world. A cutscene will begin when you do. Obviously, RUN.
Well, well, would you look at this damn nightmare version of Abe Sapien. First of all, collect the items scattered around the area. There are two Green Herbs and plenty of ammunition throughout the arena. You can obtain even more by making Nemesis smash the police cars. In fact, you should do exactly that. It is important that you do not use your Mine Rounds during the first phase of the fight. There are enough Explosive and Flame Rounds to bring him down, so save the mines as a last resort. The key to this battle is managing your ammunition and only attacking at the right time.
At the beginning of the fight, while getting Nemesis to smash the police cars, you can avoid most of his attacks simply by running, with one exception: when you see him charge toward you, dodge at the last moment using the roll button. Don't worry, it is very easy to tell the difference between his normal running animation and the charging attack. Try to use the Handgun for now, or better yet, the Knife. After you deal a certain amount of damage and enough time has passed, he will roar and begin running around the edge of the arena. Don't try to place Mine Rounds in his path. Instead, wait for him to stop and then fire a Mine Round directly at him. The round travels in a straight line without dropping, so you shouldn't miss, and Nemesis remains still for several seconds before leaping toward you. He will crash to the ground, allowing you to shoot his exposed heart until he recovers. He will get back up after taking a certain amount of damage or once several seconds have passed. Be careful, because he now has a leaping attack that he can use from the ground to reach you.
Don't keep attacking him while he is fighting on the ground. Save all your Mine Rounds for knocking him down from the walls and then attack his heart. If you run out of Mine Rounds, switch to the other types of grenades. When he slams the ground and roars again, don't worry too much. The fight remains largely the same, except that you should now focus on dodging instead of simply running while he is on the ground. He can perform a quick swipe that will hit you even while you are running unless you are far enough away.
If you run out of grenades, you're screwed. During our first attempt, we actually had to finish him with the Knife. You can damage him while he is on the ground, although it will deal less damage than attacking his heart. If necessary, reload the manual save we recommended making earlier and take the Shotgun out of the item box.
Once you manage to survive, continue through the tunnel to trigger a cutscene. It's time to visit the Hospital.
